About Greece:
Greece is located in southeastern Europe on the southern tip of the Balkan Peninsula. The Greek mainland is bounded on the north by Bulgaria, The Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, and Albania; on the east by the Aegean Sea and Turkey; and on the west and south by the Ionian and Mediterranean Seas.
Greece has a history stretching back more than 4.000 years. The people of the mainland, called Hellenes, organised great naval and military expeditions, and explored the Mediterranean and the Black Sea, going as far as the Atlantic Ocean and the Caucasus Mountains.
Culture of Greece:
The Greek people are renowned for their hospitality and generosity to foreigners, although nowadays it is perhaps harder to find than it used to be.
Nevertheless, Greece is still one of the few places where you may be invited into a local's home and given a meal, or where they may wish to take you out and treat you for a meal. Most Greeks would consider it an insult if their guests paid for the meal.
Greece is a very religious country, with about 98% of the population belonging to the Greek Orthodox Church. The Greek people are also very superstitious.
Other religious minorities are a few Roman Catholics and Jews, mainly in the north. Religion dominates many aspects of everyday life and churches are abundant all over the land.

The Greek people are also very superstitious.
Tuesday is considered unlucky, because it is the day on which Constantinople fell to the Ottoman Turks. They also believe in the 'evil eye' which can be cast by envy or avarice, so don't praise another person too highly, or they may blame you for their bad luck!

How to Get In:
Located in southeastern Europe, Greece is bordered by Bulgaria, Albania, Turkey, and the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia.
Five major international airports (Athens, Thessaloniki, Rodos, Iraklion, Kerkyra/Corfu) and 22 regional airports are hosting aircrafts of regular or chartered flights.
There are two railway stations.
Larissa and Peloponnissos R.S. From Larissa R.S one can take the trains to Northern Greece. From Peloponnissos R.S one can take the trains to Southern Greece and O.S.E buses abroad.
Things to Do in Greece:
One of the best parts of Greece is its amazing coastline, filled with both party-hearty stretches of sand and isolated bare-in-all-ways beaches.
Greece has an abundance of islands with known or semi-"official" nude beaches. While in practice any secluded stretch of Greek sand may be a nude beach at times, those who have been bare there before attest that some stretches of beach are more nude-friendly than others.
